Blue Mountains Climbing Photos
Overview:
The Blue Mountains are located about an hour and a half west of Sydney and is considered by many to be the premier sport climbing area within Australia. While there are traditional lines and multi-pitch routes the majority of the climbs are single pitch sport routes.

Info:
The climbing within the Blue Mountains is quite spread out with a large number of crags centered around the towns of Katoomba and Blackheath (both towns with decent cafes and bakeries). A Guidebook with full colour cliff topos and new routes was published in spring '07 and can be purchased from Onsight Photography.

Climbing in the Blue Mountains can be year round but you'll be chasing shade in the summer (December-January) and hunting for sun in the winter (July-August).
